the fact that the screams get more muffled and the attacks get faster and the face in the tv gets more horrifying as you kill him is what makes this boss battle amazing. Flowey is such a good character.

I remember seeing boss Flowey for the first time and being absolutely horrified. Toby Fox is an absolutely genius making boss Flowey unpixellated because up until this point the whole game is pixelated. It really jars the player the first time they see it.

The end of the intro really gives me chills. He tells you flat out you are a idiot, then the ambience abruptly stops. Then your soul shows...then 6 more. That part especially gives me chills, because you are used to there only being 1, which is you. It is like 6 bad you's.

I remember playing this one for the first time. The hyperrealistic graphics and the face on the television screen scared the crap outta me but I gotta say, it's one of the best boss battles I've ever played in video games.

it makes me feel kinda sad when flowey is taunting frisk to call for help, yelling "Mommy! Daddy! Somebody help!" and he changes his face to his warped version of his own mother's face

The end is so heartbreaking, his real voice showed itself, he felt emotion for the first time in a long time, he got so overwhealmed by this that he had to run away.

Flowey is the most accurate representation of the player in the whole gaming history. it's very smart to show how do other characters see the player through Flowey. I mean, seriously. with power to save, Flowey stopped caring about others. and as he thinks, he's just a normal player, but to others he's a psychopath because of things he has done this time. just like the player in the most of the endings. don't you find it interesting?

I feel like this fight is truly, the best boss battle in Undertale. Maybe even in any video game. The Omega Flowey boss fight, is, in a sense... hell. Flowey constantly throwing cheap attacks, reloading save files mid-game, and doing everything he can to make your life hell. What's worse, is that it's not like he's doing this to stop you from doing something. *He enjoys it.* Which is why the fight is so amazing. You're fighting against true evil. To stop him, you have to put up with his cheap attacks, whilst you fight an unfair battle, weighed against you. The music, though, it what I want to talk about. The first track, "Your Best Nightmare" has a certain feel to it. Cluttered instruments, fast, and overall has a sense of dread. What Flowey wants you to feel. Like there's no escape. The second and last track, appropriately named "Finale", flips that on its head. It's now no longer dread you feel, but instead, hope. The instruments harmonize, and the theme which was once meant to instill fear, now feels triumphant, motivating you to run that last mile, and finish the battle. The emotions conveyed are some I've never seen when playing a game, let alone a boss fight. In my opinion, it's at least one of the best boss fights ever made.

It's been so long since I found Undertale, and I've seen this fight so many times. It's easy to forget just how cool it was the first time I saw it. This game is still so amazing, even after all these years. Truly revolutionary.

I like that flowey , after fighting with him (when finale is playing) when you first start hitting him, he makes that noise, the OOH like mocking you. But when his health is halfway, he makes that GRRRCH noise. Like he then realizes that you aren’t kidding, you’re going to keep going until he dies. Then he starts to panic, and the fight isn’t a one way fight anymore. Flowey is scared of you.

I love how Flowey's grunts when he gets hit go from a mocking "Ow" to actual sounds of pain when he reaches about 1/3 of his health. He's slowly realising that he's actually losing this fight

I love the design based around the theme of determination. The purposeful feeling you get of how hopeless this boss fight is when you do so little damage especially. But then with determination you are rewarded as the fight progresses and are able to defeat flowey

I just realised something. A few months ago, Undertale Yellow released, and the guy you play as is Clover, the yellow soul. If you refer back to the Omega Flowey fight, the gun begins to shoot out clovers when you use ACT. Call me stupid, but I think these heals that come from each soul represents their name. The purple soul, during the end of the fight, mostly releases the word "HOPE" as its healing item, so then the human is called Hope. The blue soul releases music symbols, which probably means that the human is called "Melody".

Easily the best boss, hands down. It feels like you're drowning for most of the fight, struggling to endure against an eldritch horror that cannot be understood, let alone reasoned with. A glimmer of hope emerging in the souls, as you get to heal, as well as a promise of progress, before being dropped back into the nightmare. Anything you manage to do feels like flowey LET you do it, rather than through your own skill. Everything you took for granted in battle has been stripped from you, leaving you vulnerable to the wrath of an angry god. And then, when you get the souls and start out classing flowey in every possible regard, its extacy. Every strike feels immensely satisfying, and his attacks start feeling desperate, its unparalleled. Then... all of it gets stripped away in an instant. The utter whiplash could kill a man. You die again and again and again as he taunts you. Not the human, YOU. That feeling of personal dread and despair is hard to replicate. You end up doing all you can do; beg. Beg for someone, anyone to help you, to save you. But nobody came. And then...as soon as you're about to forget about the souls...they claim victory over the botanical menace, taking the flower by surprise once more. But...even after all that...the bastard lives.

tell me if im wrong or not, flowey and GLaDOS is very similar because they both have moniters that protray their thoughts, GLaDOS potrays a lot of images of things but flowey's moniter is just in agony and pain, and their both final bosses and they show similar personalities, kinda. But you see both of them at the start of the games being friendly and stuff. So yes, that is why they are similar.

Deadass one of the most adrenaline pumping moments in gaming, and it's not even that hard. The stark contrast between Omega Flowey and the pixel artstyle of the rest of the game, his otherworldly and Lovecraftian appearance, the bangin' music, Flowey's ability to manipulate your save file, flowey closing your game, and the triumphant comeback of the souls that leaves Flowey incredulous as to how he could be beaten all makes for one of the greatest moments in gaming.
