Sans' appearance in Phase 3 is honestly horrifying. It's like we're watching him turn into a Gaster Follower as you fight him, and he's expending all of his life, his power, his narrative relevance in a massive burst... and it shows. By now, Sans, the character, doesn't exist. You killed him already. But Sans, the force, is pushing back with all its power. ...It wouldn't surprise me if that was an attempt to destroy the player's DETERMINATION- not just metaphorically, but literally rid Frisk of the in-game power of DETERMINATION and prevent them from reloading their save. Otherwise, getting killed by Asgore afterwards would mean nothing, wouldn't it?

So what I get from this is, once Phase 3 hits, Gaster basically supercharges Sans and focuses him entirely on attacks like he's shut off his brain. But by doing so, Gaster overclocks Sans so badly, he essentially burns him out and kills him with that overcharge.

Making the 3rd phase all Sans/Gaster with no turns for the player was genius. The way the action syncs with the music is AMAZING. Whoever made this did damn good work. I also love the touch at the end. Sans doesn't even flinch the second time you hit him. Honestly, he's probably already dead. Yet he stays standing for a few extra seconds, just to make you wonder if the fight is over. If they fixed up the grammar a little bit, this'd be one of the best fangames out there

I like how in the second phase, Sans realizes there is no way to save you. He stops trying to reach out to you and ridicules you for being a psychopath, even calling you a freak. It really captures how sick of you Sans is by now.

I love this games treats Gaster so differently In this game he’s an entity that appears only to the truly broken and, when they become desperate enough, they hand over their soul to Gaster, and Gaster takes full control of them. They become an empty shell, devoid of emotion or reason. Gaster exists as a powerful force that promises power to those who has hit rock bottom. We see here, that Sans seems to be a puppet in phase 3, that he’s no longer in control And Gaster raises San’s power to to astronomical levels, yet it still wasn’t enough
