@@WandererMaxymthe only two they'd probably one-shot would be Sans and Mettaton, but with Mettaton able to dodge. Asgore is canonically able to dodge but doesn't, so that could play a role too if he got a boss fight in hard mode or hard mode genocide.

And this ASGORE in hard mode was actually nerfed in the latest patches, i remember with 1 hit could drop your HP to 1 and your attacks dealt 1 damage until enough turns had passed

It just goes to show.. how much Frisk's mistaken resemblance to Chara (And possibly learning of Clover's sacrifice too?) shook Asgore.. causing him to hold back a lot more! Although.. in the context of UTY Genocide this just makes Geno Clover all the more terrifying. Because Asgore couldn't even scratch him (with his trident shattering on his soul), and was then INSTAKILLED by him.

The stats in Undertale aren't shown "accurately", because that's not how magic works. the base stats are further modified by the willpower of both combatants, because willpower is the entire deciding factor of the outcome of a fight against a monster, who is primarilly composed of magic rather than physical material

Also keep in mind that canonically, Asgore can dodge like sans. He just never does it. (If you don’t believe me you can literally look it up to fact check it). So image the Asgore fight but you’re not guaranteed to hit him

Depends on if Undyne and Asgore were training using the battle system (which is diagetic in Undertale), but the game is rather vague. If they were and Asgore could indeed dodge in it , then maybe? Maybe all monsters could technically dodge if they wanted, but don't attempt to do so for some reason? Monsters do tend to be rather polite and the whole weird 'Intent to kill' thing may come into it, too. Maybe monster's can't dodge human attacks normally - Sans does actively cheat in his battle, afterall. What Undyne said could also imply Asgore was blocking Undyne's magical attacks, and since Humans are stronger than monsters physically, a blow from a human may not be able to be blocked in the same way. An alternative explanation for the blocking is that this is the same woman who gives her opponent spears as a shield.
