Man, this channel gets Flowey _right_ every time. Whether it's him arrogantly gloating, derangedly tormenting you in a hell of his making, or pouring his heart out in rare moments of sentimentality, the lyrics and voice acting always fits it perfectly and match 1:1 with the original writing. That is the case here tenfold. The lyrics are perfection all around; every line exacerbates Flowey's spite and ferocity, detailing his megalomaniacal agenda and his playful sadism to a T. And of course we can't forget about Alex Rybitski's performance; 7 years later and he is still THE Flowey voice, capturing the flower's arrogance and insanity all wrapped up in that decepticely-saccharine voice. Longish comment yes but I adore this character and seeing him done right makes me happy. TL:DR this is perfect

Dude when I was watching the musical byte package. You have NO idea how excited I got when the outro cutout, my mind went straight to "Oh this HAS to be Flowey" This is EASILY my favourite byte out of the package (Probably am biased a bit since flowey is my favourite undertale character + His songs are just bangers) I love the references to Undertale The Musical (Your Best Friend and Your Best Nightmare) The beginning of specimen mechanical you can literally hear Your Best Friend with lyrics in the background. It was super nice to hear Xander voice Flowey again! His Flowey voice has always been my favourite/headcanon voice for the character. You guys did amazing!

i just realized flowey always ends up being a neutral boss, likely because he himself is neutral. he only wants fun, and he will get it either by being evil or good and it really doesn't matter for him what he becomes in the end, just that he is having fun.

Was genuinely expecting everyone to get Wario'd at the live premiere so this was a VERY welcome surprise!

Flowey is unironically my favorite fight in yellow, and this is an awesome rendition of it. AFTERLIFE being after everything instead of in-between was really well made, and not only fits with the theme of it being the AFTER life but it sounds so climactic. This is overall my favorite song of the game, and this is the best lyrical representation of it EVER! Each specimen section felt unique just like the game represents. I also love how this contrasts the original, Clover can't best Flowey until LV20 whereas Frisk could from the get-go. I feel he's often portrayed as a gentle soul, when in reality although I do believe Flowey is still somewhat a child, he did very terrible things. This portrays how much of a malicious force he is in a way that isn't shown in most songs, PTSD, the Flower body and lack of the manifestation of a soul made it so he struggles to empathize and thousands of resets makes him view everyone and everything as toys. Playthings. I believe he deserves redemption, yeah. But one can't deny that would take centuries if not millenia. Anyone can be a good person, but they have to work to repair what they did wrong.

That art work is so creepy just like UNDERTALE YELLOW’s neutral rount and the fact that Flowey is already creepy.

To be honest, the battle with Flowey in the undertale yellow out to be much more creepy than in the original. here he seems even more violent, psychopathic and omnipotent than with 6 human souls. it seems strange,but in fact, he has already absorbed Clover's soul and is just tormenting him in some Limbo.
