I've got an idea, rather than small fast lethal projectiles why not making one big slow pad, that is basically a platform that takes the boat out of the water, making escape impossible : + It's non lethal, so civilians can't call us out for excessive force. + Avoids collateral damage caused by ricochets (like with the drag racing red boats and the land/water double kill)

@@0wly I know. My point was, it's a driving-centric game, focused on terrain navigation. Flight, therefore, is a next logical step (which there's been aircraft for years). Water, though, is "less exciting" by comparison, since it's just flat, and I don't expect there to be much in the way of water physics (waves, or wake generation) to make it more exciting. _Underwater_ crafts would be even less exciting, from a speed perspective! Thus, my surprise that anyone bothered to make them. 😋
