A little exaggerated. On The Arch: skip the last beer that evening before, double check your gear, have a guide with whom you already dove before, to at least find the entrance (having to search for it is no good idea). Be focused and go swiftly through it, and of course, watch your computer along the way. Start ascending once you‘re through, and it‘s all fine. A 15l tank will be way enough. Be careful, but not afraid nor anxious. Fascinating dive. Not necessarily for beginners, though.

Seems like you might have figured out the "mystery" in the first 5 minutes; it's easy to lose your reference and that vertigo is for real. That hole is super deep, way beyond the limits for rec divers. Combine that with inexperienced divers and you get a bad outcome. Really cool place, thanks for sharing!

Nah I mean I think the arch and the statistics on who is dying down there are also strong evidence. It's a combination of these factors imo

Amazing documentary! Besides the great cinematography and narration, somehow you guys manage to give a bit of the sense of the reality of the place. That shot standing on top of the cliff, and the shot of 10 meters and 30 meters down the length of the beach, for example, gives people who have never done any diving a perspective on the depth and breadth of the place. Tarak Omar is really something, a lot of wisdom in that head!

What a beautiful place.. I would love to go there and just swim on the surface.. Im not brave enough to go down and deeper than the surface. But thank you for the video, now I know what it looks like, I have no need to go any deeper...

There is nothing dangerous there. Nice visibility, warm water, no currents. People that died there were just willingly breaking their limits. I dove there many times. So nice dives. Nothing threatening. Why is it possible? Well, I looked on my certification card to what depth I am certified and I did not exceed this depth.

You need a sidewinder kiss rebreather hardwired comp and atleast 4-8 bailouts on that dive. Def not feeling open circuit for the entire dive and def need tri mix on this dive if u use just air you will be so narced be yuri lipski all over again.

With regular air, being narced at that depth will be the least of your worries, oxygen toxicity will be a much bigger concern

Nah, no evidence. Plenty of people have died for us and none of them send us to eternal torment if we don't love them so even if that were true he'd be a bit of a dick. Not exactly a selfless act if you demand love and unquestioning belief in return or else you'll torment them for eternity.
