undead is the term...though this undead curse was reversible...once the aztec hoard was made whole again hence why barbossa set out to get back all the aztec gold he once used

Koehler is actually walking a bit further back - it’s hard to get a good look before he turns skeletal, but the guy at the front is a pirate the wiki calls “Nipperkin”. His clothes are different and he wears his dreads tied up

Barbossa's undead crew is the coolest crew in the entire Pirates Franchise. They're cooler than Davy Jones' crew and Salazar's crew combined.

teh cursed crew has a severe weakness we've seen them get decapitated and blown up and can be disabled and contained somewhat dutchman crew however are nigh impossible to fight against

Man that shot where you first see them under water is brilliant. The ship and it’s shadow add to the CinemaScope and just makes the shot look epic and amazing.

I wish the last movie would’ve been the ultimate finale fight where somehow jack and Barbosa found a way to bring the curse back along with the fallen crew to be able to go up against just about anyone else. They ran shit

Now take this and place it in World War One. A deep fog sets over the trenches. the guns go silent, the music starts. Slowly, silhouttes emerge from the fog. The roaring of engines can be heard, and then slowly emerges Imperial German troops and A7v tanks along with a Zeppelin towering overhead. With gas masks on, the sound of distant guns can be heard, and then more, and more, and then the fog lifts... Showing a massive scale assault on the Allied trenches.

Being cursed like this would be awesome I can never die I'm a skeleton by night like if you get shot by a robber you won't die but the worst part of this curse is that you can't feel when your eating or drinking but still the best scene in this movie I give it 16 out of 16 :)

Tom Lawrence Um... several of the crew died while undead in the movie. Well, rather than killed, destroyed; rendered incapable of function. I doubt they'd have any chance if they were turned to ash completely. Which the Brotherhood of Steel's Laser rifles can and will happily do. Not only that, they can be modified to be automatic, or shotguns... and even automatic shotguns. So, worrying about the lack of flesh is a bit less of a problem.

+Gaden Kerensky they didn't die mate, they we just incapacitated. However disintegration would render them virtually useless. When talking about an actual fight between these 2 I think if they fought head on, BOS would win rather easily. However with an element of surprise I feel as though that the COTD could do enough damage to render them weak, dazed even. And with one swift and decisive strike they could be beaten. (Nonetheless, do you really think this is a suitable comparison? This in reality is just blatant bias, one side has technology that has the capability of disintegration, and the other has guns that need reloading after each incompetent shot).
