One of the absolute best dive videos on youtube! Outstanding! Hoped to see an intact porthole, but just a pile of storm covers in the stern room. Remarkable wreck in preserved condition for it's vintage. Well-done!

having fished over the wreck off the warilda about 7 times in the mid 80s . it was nice to see so much life over itt still. also to see how well it has stood up to time. but we must not forget the 123. persons that lost there lives in the call off. duty.

You probably fished over the wreck of the Lanfranc. I was one of a group of divers who managed to identify which was which in the late 80s

WOW! so much life down there and so clear in that depth. is the wreck in the shipping lanes? you must need a rebreather at that depth to stay down for so long. big like to you and so relaxing

back in 1988 i dove the uss schurz 30 miles off the coast of north carolina! the schurz was rammed an sunk by a coaler at night in the fog about the same time frame as this wreck! ww 1 era destroyers were build largely off wood and nothing was left but the steal ribbing and a ton of un spent ammunition! i am surprised at how much of this ship in the video that is still left considering she was built in 1907 probably out of iron!

It’s In good shape. Ironic that it only exists today because it was sunk. It would’ve been headed to the scrapyard at some point.

@RicTic666 жыл бұрын
Those are 'Pouting' the stripes are only seen underwater and fade rapidly when caught. Here you go rather than me waffle lol britishseafishing.co.uk/pouting/
