It's a BS disclaimer and it's any content creator's prerogative to issue a BS disclaimer. I have no problem with even at a 101% BS level. Disclaimers create a workaround against rules/laws/cowardice which would presume to restrict peoples' right to speak their minds and our right to hear them speak their minds. In Dr. Grande's case, doctors aren't supposed to render a diagnosis absent a relationship with the subject of that diagnosis. Dr. Grande is informally diagnosing these lunatics in a way that normal people understand isn't the same as if he was assigned by a court, jail or prison to evaluate a defendant/inmate. His state's Ethical and Professional Standards Board really wouldn't like this content, but it's out of their hands due to his jerkoff disclaimer. Screw 'em. Our enjoyment trumps ethics. MINE does anyway.

The cops perhaps rightly say that any innocent person would jump to do the so called lie detector test, just on General principle however almost all lawyers say even if you're innocent not to take one because it's not scientific and it's not admissible anyway......

They're a good investigative tool insofar as police are allowed, per the SCOTUS, to lie. Family annihilator Chris Watts confessed after "failing a polygraph test". Cops can't lie in court under Oath, obviously; that would be Perjury, but they can lie to suspects to elicit a confession if there is evidence which would corroborate such a confession.

I remember suggesting this case awhile back. It's pretty obvious Jeff wanted a free long term housing and free meals while doing some chores. He knew his time was running out where he needed to work, pay rent and provide for his wife and daughter.

I grew up in a mobile home with holes in the floor. You may have modest beginnings too. I see the beautiful homes and lives of these people who commit savage acts and it puzzles me. Would they have been more cognizant of the fact that everyone deserves a fair chance at life had their own involved 🤏🏼 struggle? Try the interrogation of Michael Olson from Akron, Ohio. He raped and killed Mary Kay “Katie” Wohlfarth who was nearly 70 when he was 34 or 35. This happened at a storage facility. His interrogation is off the charts!📈

That sounds like a big mistake in most cases to allow your son-in-law to live in your basement when he’s not even gainfully employed or employed at all. In some cases, it might be the right thing to do such as if they were ill or hurt themselves or they’re looking every day for a job

I’ve heard this case be presented before but this is the best explanation I’ve heard for the events leading up to the murder. It makes far more sense that he created the prowler narrative and that in turn created heightened paranoia in the family than him somehow orchestrating all the ‘suspicious’ incidents the family reported over that year. Too many of the incidents the family reported involved people who didn’t match his description (like teenagers) or mildly unusual incidents where he was with at least one other family member. To me it seems straightforward that he wasn’t responsible for everything, and that the family was just hyper vigilant due to his lies and crimes, so they viewed any little thing as suspicious even when it was objectively quite innocuous. I’m not sure why other people think he somehow paid off other parties to do things, you’d think if he were so inclined he would pay them to act like prowlers rather than pay teens to act like dumb teenagers to frighten the family.

Dr. Grande usually mentions if a suspect talks to police without a lawyer, something he recommends you never do. I've never heard him mention if a lawyer WAS present during interviews. I would like it if that detail was included in his summary and how it might have affected the outcome of the interview. Love the channel!
