The 6/24 from Ant reminds me of Kobe’s 6/24 in game 7 of the 2010 finals. That’s what makes true superstars when your shot isn’t falling how else can you help your team? Ant turned it up defensively in the 2nd half and made great passes.

Ant didn’t necessarily have a good game. Similar to Kobe’s Game 7 against Boston in 2010, Ant shot 6 for 24. But he hit two key threes. One to end the 3rd and the corner one which was after he picked Jamal’s pocket for a breakaway dunk. Joker and Jamal combined for 69 and they still lost. Jamal actually shot the ball well (13-27) to get his 35. It was MPJ who stunk it up. In 5 of the 7 games, MPJ scored in single digits. I guess Minny’s length bothered him as he wasn’t getting clean looks as he did against the Lakers with 6’5 Austin Reaves guarding him. Denver lost because their weaker bench this year than last year’s and MPJ stunk it up for most of this series. Had MPJ got them even 20, maybe Denver wins. But he gets 7 pts and Denver did not properly box out for those defensive rebounds that had Naz Reid flying in for a dunk like he’s Dominique Wilkins. Give credit to Minnesota. Their defense was suffocating and they are the bigger team. Denver simply lost to a better team than them this season.
