There are more people watching the NBA outside the U.S. and we are still talking about an American face of the NBA? This game has a bigger International market than ever, and foreign fans tend to be more educated on the game than U.S. fans. Giannis is a marketer's dream. He has a clean image, great personality, infectious smile and everyone loves him (especially kids)

@@kristopherrice1465 The problem with Yiannis is that he is not shooting. He is dunking, or scoring with layups mostly. He needs to start shooting if he wants to be succesfull. Look how easily Lebron is being guarded by really good teams. That is because he is an inconsistent shooter.

giannis didnt even grow up thinking he was gonna be an NBA player, he had a normal job when some international scouts saw him playing ball. Giannis has had major growth while being in the league, he was a much skinnier and shorter when he 1st entered the league.

Giannis is great player. Giannis is a force of nature and is going to win the MVP this season, but let's pump the breaks here. LeBron is the greatest all-around basketball player ever. Both have similar games, but LeBron is a better passer, a better shooter and it's not a debate. Plus LeBron has arguably the highest basketball IQ ever. This is a good talking point but Giannis has to accomplish much more to be considered in the same sentence as LeBron

Jax Ace Some is facts, but some is false. Bst Giannis plays defense not just offense. Lebron is an offensive juggernaut but doesn’t deserve the title “all-around player.” That’s false. Defense is 50% of the game. I’m not saying Giannis is better than Lebron of all time bse he does need to accomplish more. But Giannis is the number 1 player in the nba this season and that’s facts. 1. Giannis 2. Harden 3. KD 4. Kawhi 5. PG Lebron isn’t top 5 this season. He’s top 10 though.

Comment Support defense is 50% of the game he one sided. Offense a lot of players have that (example: Harden, Steph, Dame, PG Giannis etc). And you don’t have to care abt it still doesn’t negate the fact it is a stat line. Bse we can take assist away as well bse that’s a broken stat too. But at the end of the day it’s all a stat, so it counts. Best all around player in the league is Kawhi but he’s not the best his team have won multiple games without him. Take Giannis oof bucks they a .500 team with Lebron back lakers are 2-24 with him playing, not in playoffs, and have a worst record currently this year vs last year without him. Giannis is the best in the league currently in this season. If we doing all time though 1. Jordan 2. Kareem 3. Magic 4. Wilt 5. Lebron 6. Bill Russell 7. Bird 8. Kobe 9. Hakeem 10. Tim Duncan Giannis, KD, and Harden can possibly make this list someday maybe even over Lebron but they don’t have enough accolades yet. But in this season as of now Lebron isn’t a top 5 player anymore. Could change next season only time a tell

I always look at it as if I had to start a team who are the 1st players all-time that I'm picking and Lebron is who I'd want because I think he could hold it down by himself better than Magic while I get him some help. That's just my preference though. I bet most people would take Magic over LeBron for the free throw shooting and better defense though.

Did you ever hear Chris broussard rip an Nba Player? We rarely do because he is the only NBA Analyst that is not completly biased on hype train. He does not defend lebron, he analyze what factors and why his team are not playoff caliber when they should be with the talent they have. Since they always talk about L.A they have to do that and to you it comes off at excuses when its not. We could do the same with the pelicans for example but they are not relevant. People saying that we are making excuse just want the world to say OH HE JUST SUCK! Nba analyst cant do that because it's not their job

I do not think him not being from USA hurts him and i think the media are the ones trying to make it so. He's humble , hard working , seems like a really nice guy. Dirk was the same way the only difference was Giannis seems more like a wide eyed kid just happy to be here and it shows in interviews. If anything it's the 3-ball that hurts since it's such a big thing in the NBA right and i do not think he will have a problem getting a good shot down. I mean part of it right now is just how the Bucks are set up , Lopez there center is deep ball threat along with everyone else on the team.
