as an avid Lakers fan who did like (but not love) Larry Nance Jr... i will say he's not really an "energy" guy... i don't know where that label came from. sure, he's an explosive leaper and can posterize anyone, but just from a pure energy standpoint, he's actually pretty dull and listless... he almost has a flat affect. i've never really seen him yell, get hyped, get physical, or anything like that (unless he's dunking on someone, and even then, he's not gonna get in anyone's face and impose his will). he's just a leaper... a more efficient Tyrus Thomas.

Significant Nobody They had time to do it but clearly it didn’t happen. A lot things don’t go as planned and this team was one of them, that’s not an excuse it is a fact. We see how no one else has a good shooting percentage and we also see how no one else plays defense, why is it that Lebron has to set a tone on a defense, why can’t they just play defense it’s not like they have an offensive load as heavy as LBJ does. Don’t get me wrong the dude lacks a lot of defensive presence nowadays that hurts the team but he can’t do it all, he’s giving you everything he has on offensive the least he asks is to at least try on defense

Significant Nobody yeah that energy died after their first game together. I think the team just felt rejuvanated after getting a bunch of young guns and they were all excited, but soon they all realized that the young guns still have a long way to go to be ready for Playoffs and big responsibilities and that “new life” energy ran out fast.

LeBron critics are never consistent. Game 1 he was criticized for trying to get his teammates involved and not being aggressive enough not having a scoring mentality. Game 2 he's being criticized for other players not getting in rhythm. Now apparently he's stat padding even though if he doesn't score they can't even stay in the game.

The amount of hate the Boston Celtics get is ridiculous.. Round 1, they’re gonna have trouble with Giannas, Kris Middleton is a problem. I think it might actually be better for Lebron not to make it to the finals. That way he won’t get smashed and it won’t count against him on his finals record. People forget there were a ton of years Jordan didn’t even make it to the finals, just because it isn’t reflected on his finals record. It’s unfair that making it to the finals so many times counts for nothing, but it’s true

Teammates are not trash. They extended the lead vs the Pacers game 7 when Bron was on the bench. Lebron is a ballhog who doesnt pass until theres little time on the shot clock to force an assist. + he plays zero defense so he can camp rebounds.

No disrespect to Curry but when Skip said Steph is number 4 in individual defense in the post season, that right there shows that the stat is invalid. It clearly showcases more how effective the TEAM works defensively and how that stat benefits from good team defense more than individual, not saying Bron plays a lot of defense but how bad the team together is on defense affects his individual stats. Kevin Love is arguably the worst defender in the league, if you watch the games and focus on him on defense you will see what im talking about and that hurts the Cavs defense the most.

Shannon just proved my point unintentionally. He said George Hill was the highest percentage 3 point shooter yet when he joined the Cavs he got worse. Playing with Bron makes most players worst than their last team. The reason they are with the Cavs is because of their reputation prior to the Cavs. The system is broken.

My questions are why didn't Clarkson play? He played decent in game 1 and yet did not play? Good scorer with some energy and when the starting back court is only combining for 3 points why not put him in there. I would start him game 3. Also where has Nance been? He gets to Cleveland and plays well and now he is barely getting minutes and only getting 5 points and he had zero last night.

His output on defense is so minimal because his output on offense takes so much out of him. GSW has multiple scorers which allows them to have more to give on defense individually. It's quite simple to see.

If you're expecting some offense from George Hill, and you want it to be like when he was leading in 3pt %, I know he's going to need to see more opportunities than averaging 1 shot per quarter. And if George Hill was leading in 3pt % before the trade, maybe because the team he came from had better offensive flow than what is still the Cavs problem.
