the mindset keyshawn has is exactly how the US can lose unexpectedly against international opposition. the moment you think you've already won the game on paper leaves you open for complacency. international players step up in FIBA competitions because they get a different role and become empowered to do more on the court versus their typical role in their NBA team. great example is patty mills who becomes a franchise player when he plays for australia. this olympic tournament won't be as easy as a lot of americans are expecting it to be.

Kobe was not on the U.S. team at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. That's one of the more memorable Olympics where Vince got that 'dunk of death' over the 7"2 French dude. They had Payton, Kevin Garnett, K-Mart, Ray Allen, J-Kidd, Alan Houston, sheiiii a whole bunch bunch of stars on that team. KG21 and Vince we're a MENACE on that team hahaha! I think 2002 lose from Yugoslavia (today's Serbia ) in 2002 FIBA World Championship in Indianapolis is equally or even more embarrassing. Because of that loss USA was 5th and Yugoslavia won the cup on USA soil.

This year will be a real challenge for teams. There are more NBA players on teams now than ever before. Countries are catching up and a few may have a shot at giving the US all it can handle. This is why you can't compare how good the dream teams really are. Competition gets better every Olympics.

The USA team doesn't look as dominant as in the past. Lebron and KD are not the same. The top best players in the NBA are from Canada and Europe. BTW, any top European team can beat the USA on a good night. We, USA, better be ready to defend. BTW, on the last skirmish game, team USA looks like amateurs.I I hope they start taking practice games seriously.

The starting 5 is comparable to any in history including dream teams 1, & another im not about to look up. Point is, this bench is good enough, but it’s not an all time bench.
