I agree. Doesn't help with Chip's background... cutting talented and outspoken Black players (DeSearn Jackson, Brandon Boykin, Shady McCoy) and keeping racist white players on the roster (Riley Cooper - kept him and got rid of DeSean, smh). This dude probably HATES Kap's protest. We'll see how long Chip will hold out when Gabbert stinks it up a couple more games.

You must be joking. His system destroys a team by itself. And to top that he got rid of Jackson, McCoy and Maclin. His focus was the offense and our offense right now isn't 10% of what it was back when we had those guys. Granted, we now have our QB no matter how he plays in the next weeks, Wentz is our guy but Pederson drafted him, all decisions that Kelly made are proving to be bad. I like Jordan as a person but he's not nearly as good as Maclin.

I saw Sharpe in a club back in '96, so in his playing days and I was surprised he's not as big and imposing as you might think. In his playing day I believe they'd say he was 6'-4", but he's more 6'-1 to 6'-2. Tony Gonzales is huge, & started to lean up during his latter years. TG is imposing... about 6'-5".

I don't think Colin Kaepernick's recent statements about police have anything to do with how Chip Kelly's treating him, but I will say race may be a factor for this reason: because of Kelly and Kaep (and Jay Gruden and RGIII before them), white coaches are getting real comfortable throwing black quarterbacks under the bus. It's not uncommon in football, baseball, or basketball for a coach/manager to explain that a player is not starting because he isn't as good anymore as he used to be. I don't see what the big deal is here. It is a fact that Kaepernick is not the player he once was. Skip and Shannon are acting as if no coach has ever made such a comment about any player in history.

It's highly debatable as to whether he is better than Gabbert. Last year, Gabbert's QB rating was 86.2 while Kaepernick's was 78.5. The reason why Kelly said that Kaepernick is not the same player anymore is so that morons like you wouldn't ASSUME that Kaepernick is better.
