Agree. A LOT of content creators don't do a true foundation wear test anymore. 1 or 2 day wear test, w or w/o primer, natural sunlight view, etc. Hardly ever see that anymore. They just say they'll pin a comment 🙄. Which some forget to do

I miss old school tutorials and techniques. Everything is reviewing products which is important, but how do we best use these new products or just taking it back to skills. Also love the unedited and it always frustrates me when makeup KZfaqrs cut out their brow application! It may not be super fun and a bit daunting, but I suck at my eyebrows and that’s the part I need most help with so please bring back the brow tutorials!! We love you!

As a mature creator, I would love to see you do your mom's makeup, or maybe even grandma's. I love unedited videos, but agree they are so nerve-wracking to do. It's hard to break the habit of restating something when you stumble over words. Happy cruise! Oh, I also LOVED hearing your baby in the background. I became a grandma for the first time last year and so I'm all about the babies right now. LOL And watching your content reminds me of when I was a young mom, trying to figure it all out, and just loved those days so much!

Hey Allie, I love your new series of going back to the basics. I was wondering if you could maybe make a video about matching blush to eyeshadow? Like what blush shade would look best with a cool toned eye look, neutral brown eye, green eye look, pink, purple, etc. Especially for a green eyeshadow look it can be a bit tricky figuring out what blush to use or with the ethereal looks, like with purple for example what blush would work best ❤

Since you mentioned eye looks, I do miss videos that you used to make creating several eye looks with one palette. I also enjoy a lot timed make up looks, like 3, 5, 10 minute makeup, or what there is in my current make up travel bag, pack with me, and similar. It is nice to see what creators mix and use for real every day life and what they would choose to bring on trips, or use for special occasions. Shop with me videos too. Applying make up products chosen by somebody else (husband, sister, friends..). Exchanging make up products with a friend (I remember one video you made a long time ago with Shelby Wilson when you sent each other a selection of products)

KZfaq isn’t irrelevant. It’s totally a matter of perspective. Because views are lower than they used to be, it’s easy to forget just how many people are watching. At the time of writing, there are 12000 views on this, yesterday’s video. That’s an arena full of people! Several massive arenas of people watch your videos each time you upload. How insane is that?! Superstar stats. ❤ You’re the loveliest, most pro-KZfaq creator I know, and I’m not taking a dig at you; I find it frustrating when other creators are (essentially) telling their several arenas full of loyal fans that their audience is irrelevant. We’re here. 🤷🏻‍♀️🥰🥳

I think it's great to see a video in real time!!! LOVE IT! One of my favorite types of videos that I don't see very often, is when a content creator goes into sephora / ulta, etc. and takes us shopping... showing us the products, looking at swatches, etc. I find it so overwhelming to go into the store myself, it is amazing to have someone tour us through products and why you like / don't like. Allie, you asked about what color eye shadows we gravitate towards... I have green/hazel eyes, so I like to wear neutral browns with copperish shimmer popped on the lid at the end. I add brown mascara (either Tower 28 or Westman Atelier) and I'm good to go. ALSO, it would be great to see more content for the mature women out there. That may not be your niche or of interest to you, but we >64 girlies still love our makeup. Thanks for your lovely channel.

love your videos and makeup looks allie! i'm a bit of a silent subscriber usually but something i miss about yt is just good old fashioned tutorials...fun and creative looks being broken down. i personally don't really care for products, and care more for the actual process of putting on makeup, so i love anything focused on an actual look. i feel like you give a good mix of both though, so i love you for that!

Speaking of your little girl, hearing her in the background, my husband was like “we need to check on Theo” (our son). He sounds so much like your daughter the excitement and joy at things. I'm going to tell you the same thing I told Nikki la Rose on her uncut videos: They're my favorite videos to do my makeup along with specifically because of the "dead air" moments. Those are often the same moments when I'm also blending my makeup up and need to focus, especially when eye makeup is involved. It's more real, and more comforting, and we viewers get to see what it really does take to get the more flawless finishes. Edited videos may appear more "perfect", but it's the imperfections that unite us as humans and makeup enthusiasts.

Honestly, I learn so much about latest trends and products from you and others still in the KZfaq community!!❤ You should do more “recreating the look” videos - current looks, infamous looks from past decades, or even just use a ‘dated’ trend like smudgy black eyeliner of the 90s, frosted eyes and lips of the early 00s, etc. That would be super fun!! Love the unedited videos - makes you even more real. I watch Tati, Mrs. Melissa M and you consistently. Would love to see other people do your makeup and you do others too. Do different ages with different trends and colors. Also, take us when you go to Sephora, Ulta or the drugstore. It doesn't have to be perfect, just looking around at products. Check-ins throughout the day are also great. I love the long video format.

Oh my, so many things. First of all I love this raw footage of just you. Things I might be interested in seeing for videos would be: recommendations on different kinds of makeup for different skin concerns, face shapes/skin tones; an overview of how you care for your brushes and tools; how you coordinate tones between blush/lip/eyes; nail painting (you always have great looking nails!).

I appreciate this type of uncut video. It really helps set my expectations for how long it takes to blend things out. As for content I really like, I’d say side by side comparisons of complexion products or even mascara. I also really appreciate a thorough review of base products. Not just one application and a single wear test, but something where the person has been testing out a foundation many times, under a variety of conditions, doing what they can to get it to look its best. Not all of that testing needs to be on camera, but at this point I want more than just “This is what I did with this product today, and my results are mixed. Maybe I should have done XYZ, but oh well because the video is over.” I want to hear from KZfaqrs who really get some use out of these products. I also have to say that I have a real need right now to see content about affordable products 😬

I like you showing the brow application because I don't do my brows very well. In regards to doing makeup on others and having someone do yours, I would love to see those videos. I also love your nails! Loved this unedited video!

I liked this! I think you should continue doing them and you’ll feel more comfortable in time. I’m still obsessed with KZfaq. I don’t understand the hype about short form content, I still want to see wear tests, I want to see every detail in a review, that is what really helps me to make an informed purchase decision. I love it when you do educational content, in depth tutorials and not only makeup reviews, I want hair, skincare, body care, everything! I loved your baby on the background, she sounds so cute! I love your content, thank you for providing good videos, they are always good but I can tell much more love has been put into the 2024 ones and I really appreciate it ❤

Love the chatty video. Like seeing the whole process. I dislike seeing soo much Sephora hauls and what’s in my Sephora cart. It’s a full week or two of videos from everyone. I just shut off KZfaq for a few weeks when Sephora has a sale.

I rarely watch short form stuff. I don’t even watch TV. KZfaq is my jam. I am actually enjoying this unedited video a lot. This is great to have on while doing my own makeup. I would love more of these every once in awhile. 👍 Funny you mentioned eye palettes, I am rediscovering mine. I have lately been reobsessed with Anastasia Soft Glam. Man, that is a good palette.

I absolutely love the formula and color. I really just wanted to support your brand but ended up loving the product itself! Thank you for showing a generation of young girls such an authentic example of true femininity and classiness. You are a breath of fresh air, Allie!!! I'm sure it's not easy putting yourself out there on a platform like KZfaq but you are doing so much more than just creating great makeup videos. I think that it would be fun to do some themed makeup tutorials... for example, re do your favourite look or makeup from different eras that we could do today... Glam looks Goth looks, etc. Love your content ✨️

I LOVE Zabrena. She is positive, funny, beautiful and her videos are uplifting and realistic (lots of drugstore, affordable stuff). I also like Dominique Sachse. She is more on the high end line but her spirit, her attitude, her elegance, her way to treat us, older than 40 ladies, is so gentle and inspiring.

I hate when I can tell the application is suffering due to buildup on my brushes, so then I turn to the 7+ “forgotten” brushes, and I’m so loathe to reach for them even tho they sit there so faithfully 😂 Sigh. Especially when it comes to my eye brushes, I really have a handful of favorites and the others don’t get any love even though they are great brushes. I get into my routines and don’t stray I guess
