@@jodyporter6086 - An RV’er traveling across the country has laws they must be aware of traveling state to state or going into Mexico or Canada. Different states have different CHL laws. There is reason for caution. Add that someone not familiar with weapons can be a danger just because of their inexperience. Instead of making this political, how about a little understanding?

❤ this episode! So entertaining after a rough work day. Indian accent nav directions, a great art exhibit, and a couple great “Scottisms” such as “non lethal foot ware” 😂. I’ve been to some gun shows & that looked like a nice one 🏆Makes me want to get back out to CO. Keep up the great infotainment for us working stiffs who haven’t broken the shackles yet 👍👍

I love the ear plug booths at gun shows. You can't beat custom comfy ear plugs! Make sure to tell them you plan to sleep in them, not shoot otherwise you'll get a different product injected into your ear.

Wow, Loved that museum exhibit. That was amazing!! I had a Ruger Super Redhawk 44 magnum pistol when I was in my early 20's that my uncle sold me, as he held a FFL license. That pistol was beautiful and a beast to shoot. I got into cartridge reloading and that was a lot of fun. The great thing about a 44 magnum pistol is that you can use regular 44 caliber cartridges will way less kick. All of those rifles are semi-automatic and not machine guns. The colored rifles are usually for women to match their eye shade or purse color...lol

Looks like a new hat there, Scott! Loved the diorama with all the little rooms and different scenes to see... felt like the 40's for some reason. Definitely a van life miracle! Haven't been to a gun show, only gun stores and ranges. Looked interesting, but not really into collecting. Be seeing you!

I really enjoyed capturing Old Colorado City for us. Once was its own town, now a neighborhood in Colorado Springs, Colorado. You see only a fraction of how cool that area is. In fact, I Urban Camped in Old Colorado City… so much fun.

I am still scratching my head around how the dioramas worked!!! I’m headed through the Colorado Springs area on my way home, I think I’ll have to go check that museum out. Being from Texas, gun shows are a common thing. It’s all about the guns, ammo and enthusiasts. I could definitely see the curiosity behind one of the shows though. Can’t wait to get more ideas and places to go from you Scott. Keep up the good travels!!!!

The miniature village was marvelous! I’ve been in The Springs many times and never knew it was there…. Bucket list! All that and great eats too! I’ve been to gun shows and they’re always fun. The enthusiasm of the vendors is fun too. Since I plan on travel in Canada plus I have a tremor; handguns are a no-starter. Thanks, Scott, your videos always hold my interest.

🤠Yes on the gun show. Pretty cool but prices are generally inflated. It is better to buy from Academy or Bass Pro. I would probably rip my arm open if I had a spare tire bolt sticking out like that on my van....PS I loved the miniature city. I have seen these in person as well. No telling how long those took to build.

Interesting and very different video for you. We'll have to add a stop there next time we drive through CO :) At first I assumed you were talking about the town in AZ. Have you talked to Mesa Mike about Colorado City in Arizona? It is a truly notorious town if you live in Arizona. There has been a long running feud/legal mess there with polygamists.

An armed society is a polite society 😊. I have been to gun shows. I was a swat medic (and a vet) for 7 1/2 years and trained with the best of the best. Everyone, in my opinion, should own a gun. People of every race, color, creed, D or R, LGBTQ+ or nationality because no one cares about you, more than yourself. What’s the difference between an American citizen and a British subject? The second amendment 😂 You should check out a gun range and shoot some. Vegas has a fully automatic range to shoot almost any gun. Check it out sometime. Great video 👍🏼

Where do you go to get the van washed? Just got mine a few weeks ago ..she’s getting dirty .. BTW, I’m definitely getting a small cup-holster..I live in corrupt Illinois and have my FOID. Conceal and carry expired but I believe our van is considered a home so should be able to carry when out camping ..right? Yikes..better ask my cop friends 🤔

Been to a few gun shows in NC VA WA ID -- I do not go anymore as I found it all same old same old and prices are crazy -- I can find better prices at various regular dealers. guns laws vary so much from state to state and city to city -- that it is difficult to be sure you are not breaking the law as you travel. I have carry permit for WA -- but do not carry my guns outside of the state - unless I do all the requirements for guns on my and in the vehicle where I will travel -- just very hard to be within the law if you travel all over the place -- never try to carry guns into Canada....

Nope, don't need to see a gun show on a travel rv channel. I own guns but have no illusions that i will ever need one to protect myself. I have two good fists and two nasty dogs.

What's with the ?????? On gunshows. Alternative lifestyles are supposed to be acceptable. I choose not to have one but the judgemental attitude took away from the inspirational urban camping videos I've come to enjoy.

I was robbed, held at gunpoint for about 4 hours and afterwards the police were like ‘We can file a report, but they’ll never catch him. It’s a waste of time.’ Their ‘Ehh, whatever, you’re okay just lost a few bucks, no big deal’ attitude changed my mind forever. I carry now, not for any other reason than the knowledge are NOT there when needed, and when they do show, their interest is in fighting major crimes. 😊
