Why jpeg's instead of raw's? okay I just heard that you couldn't, that's weird cuz I see on every review that raw is available... maybe update is needed. photos are okay but before color edit because after... they're glitching. raw is needed.

Amazing shots. Loved the look up shot where the tower didn’t seem to end. I personally only shoot on my camera since i only have an IPhone SE from 2016.

@@VideoZion facts, had my bike stolen right out of my backyard a couple months back, felt so invaded and it was not a nice feeling knowing someone was in my yard in the middle of the night.

In camera settings you can turn off “view outside the frame” and it will black out the frame that is not part of your picture that you were mentioning it was messing up your composition. Hopefully the raw shooting capabilities that are coming soon will make it even better. Love your content! 👌🏽

I was so scared every time you rode with no hands whilst not having a lanyard attached to the phone or something. Don't do that. That shit be expensive 😅 But love you cycling skills tho 😊

The part of the picture you saw greyed out in the viewfinder gives you the picture you would get when switching to ultrawide. Sortof to make it easier to choose

Got mine yesterday, it’s a beast :), fortunately RAW format will come with iOS 14.3 in a few weeks, and it’s going to be a game changer 👌

you can always use camouflage on your phone and put it into some type of "calculator" case to make it look like a calculator

8:48 When it shows you the whole frame, the phone “tells” you that you could capture more of the scene if you use the Ultra Wide instead of regular Wide, same with the Tele Photo, it will “tell” you the same. Sorry for my english, but hoping it makes sense.

Hey Pierre if you click the arrow at the top in the Camera app, then the "4:3" button, you can select between Square (1:1), 4:3, and 16:9 ratios. 16:9 gives you much more real estate and narrows those grey borders shrinking the composition.

To enable RAW on the iPhone, try going into Settings > Camera > Formats and under a new Photo Capture section there's a toggle to turn Apple ProRaw on and off. On the top right of the camera app, you'll see a new Raw button for quickly switching between ProRaw photos and JPEG (or HEIC) photos....

@@rachelmclaughlin1491 Benefits are it captures more detail which makes editing the photos better as when you edit a jpeg you have less control and can only take the edit so far before it destroys the quality of the image. Disadvantage is it takes up more storage. On my DSLR I captured images in RAW only because it makes the editing easier and allows me to have more control. If I had a good enough phone I'd do the same for all my pro photographs.

I picked up the iPhone 12 Pro Max a few weeks ago and I am very impressed with the advancements Apple has made. I upgraded from the iPhone 7 so it's truly a huge upgrade. Great video man, good work

I just ordered the 12 pro max. First time watching your channel and you got me excited to get shooting some pics man. The camera is way better than the iPhone 7 plus I'm upgrading from. Didn't think Apple could outdo the camera quality of the 7 plus. There were actually films released to theatres shot on the 7 plus. The pics you took have got me anxiously awaiting my new phone. I enjoyed the video! Tip: Some photos look good when the camera is turned horizontal. And my favorite photo was the Porsche shot with the first set of building reflections!

Great video. I just upgraded from the Pixel 2 XL to the Pixel 5. Love the ultra wide lens. It often comes in handy! Hope Google comes out with new camera hardware next year along with their software it would be awesome!

Nice work. The phones takes great photos. I would say your subject material really makes the photos even better. Not everyone lives in city like you....I know where I live there is next to nothing as dramatic as your location. Location and choice are key to landing a dramatic photo with any camera. Nobody wants to see boring and you didn't deliver boring. Nice

The latest beta of the operating system includes ProRaw, and this is a game changer. I can edit the RAW files in Lightroom and the dynamic range is impressive (12 stops I think?) - The night mode is also really good. Smartphone photography has come a long way.

You can go to the edit option on your portrait mode photos and edit the lighting and even the f stop to adjust the level of blur

Another great video & some really nice pics. I especially like the ones beside the harbour. That place looks lovely. When i'm out & about without my camera i use my Pixel 4 & most of the time i'm quite happy with the results. I'd be interested in your opinion of the results from your Pixel 4xl vs the iPhone 12pro.

I use a Note 9 and with one ui 2.5, I recently got the ability to shoot in 21:9 at 24FPS. will be getting a iPhone 12 pro with-in the year because of the HDR and how impressive it is. Great use of a phone camera.
