Very dynamic interview. Sizwe Mpofu Walsh should have tried to remain neutral. He was really running around in circles on some questions. Gayton Mckenzie did not beat around the bush and said it like he always does without being apologetic. I just hope that someone at SABC did not dictate to SMW on what to ask or say, becuase SMW seemed out of place on some questions, compared to his normal rational self.

Highly charged, nothing wrong with how Sizwe handled this. I think Gayton has a point on the issue of Orania. If you buy a property, you can choose who should come to the property. This is ANC's problem. As Gayton says, they should find a way of re-integrating Orania back to South Africa. I also think Gayton's thinking that he can suspend the constitution is unrealistic. That kind of thing you only expect it in a banana republic. The issue of illegal immigrants is obviously a no-brainer but it needs to be handled with care unless if South Africans believe relationships with African countries are inconsequential. Besides, deportations do not come cheap unless if he is going to unleash thugs to hunt down foreigners. The largest democracy (America) with all its resources has still not found a formula to deal with illegal immigrants. If Gayton becomes President, he will realize quickly that the office is a strait-jacket. There are global, regional and local expectations.
