My Dad bought two newer ones in blue before 25 years. They are quiet heavy, but drive fast and safe on the streets. If you use them a lot they become unstable, so you have to check them often. People stop laughing about it when they see how fast you can fold it and how fast you can drive with it.

I bought mine in Turin, in 1999, for equivalent of about £900, so not cheap! They are a bit heavy to carry any distance but a nice folding mechanism... except for that spring loaded latch (if it fails while riding, the whole bike does collapse like a clown bike)
