Miss Milly (Tamara Marie Simms), A Bahamian mother places all her hopes into her only son Sam (Nathan J. Burrows). She invests her life savings for Sam’s tuition at a University in America, expecting Sam to return home and pave the way to her financial freedom and an early retirement. Sam rebels as he felt as if his mother’s expectations were too much. While on internship in Miami, Florida, Sam meets Robin (Charae' Sands), a troubled American woman. He turns his back on his family and falls deeply in love with her. I'm still crying as I type this. This movie should have been recognized as the movie of the year and needs to be shown in churches nationwide because it tells a beautiful story of a disfunctional family and how god intervened in their lives. Yes with God there is a light because he sits high and looks low. Thank you so much for a story well written and to the point. Great acting keep making them a message. God bless! USA

Pathos, heartfelt emotion, tragedy all rolled up in this well scripted film, the characters that we meet are so full of energy, it makes this comedy 'what it is' as Richard Prior might have said. I almost wished it was 90 minutes, but it ended just right.

@@darioerics Wouldn't have guessed this was your first film. I'm not a professional critic, reviewing is somewhat of a hobby. There are so many tv movies, & big budget cinema films that have diabolical plots, coupled with lousy acting, its nothing short of a bore to watch. I wish you & the cast all the best for the future.

The girl who played the fiancee (Robbin) sickens me . Why did she have to talk that way. So fake . Poor acting skills. And the son was dumb disrespectful toward his mother, and neive.

A mother who calls on God but acts like a street urchin. Not the best acting. All the yelling, Please!!! Typical movie,more like poor theater. Why does it always take a heart attack or accident, for children or family to appreciate their parents. The fiancé needed to stay in Florida. Too late to show respect and love. Oh now the Prodigal son is so sorry..really. Where were her daughters when the mother needed financial help. Do Jamaican, Bahamas, Haiti, Trinidad, and other islands, have different accents? They all sound alike to me. Heather needs to get her own man and leave the Pastor alone.
