Embil Lake is located at an altitude of 935 meters in the forest of Zeyva village, 25 km northwest of Shabran district. It has a circular shape with a height of 927 m above sea level and a diameter of 150 m. The name of the lake is composed of the words am (community, community) in Arabic, bil (swamp) in Tat and lake in Azerbaijani, meaning "community lake".
After parking the car, it takes about 2-3 hours of walking to reach the lake. Since we went without a guide, there were some difficulties, but what made the trip beautiful was not knowing the way.
Things you need to take with you: Backpack, drinking water, comfortable clothes, extra socks and shoes.
To enjoy the beauty of the video, it is recommended that you set the video quality to at least 1080p.
