Recently the Wall Street Journal posted a story entitled No Shower, No Sleep: Van Life Isn’t As Cool as Instagram Makes It Look.
It contained the usual stories about the privations of life on the road.
The headline caused me to judge the subjects in the story harshly.
But after reading how lonely, dirty and expensive an experience van life has been for some ….
It was an eye opener when all of the people interviewed said they wouldn’t quit.
Good for them.
Fact is it takes awhile to get things organized so you can roll with the punches.
Because the punches will come.
But nothing you can’t come back from.
Most of the time.
If you can’t deal with hardships…
How will you know and appreciate the sublime.
My subscribers know I use this channel to let you guys know when I’ve done a new audio podcast. Separate content for the audio podcast and the KZfaq version.
First of all here’s the link to the new podcast…would love it if you check it out.

Second…one thing I did not talk about in this video are the economic circumstances that have many people looking for a different and better way to live. (That’s in the audio podcast).
The media doesn’t like people that take chances to try and break new ground.
Just because something isn’t as cool as it looks on social media, doesn’t take away from the courage and grit it takes to break away.
