As a biologist I can that's 100% true, if you can smell it, it is in your body. If you can smell shit it means the molecule that gives shit its smell is inside your nose, hence if you can smell it, it's in your body. That being said, just because the smell molecule reached your nose it doesn't necessarily mean that other small shit particles have also reached your nose, however, those particles will reach your body if you flush with the lid open.

I feel often when marginalized people vocalize their plight, it’s interpreted as them complaining. When people of color, people with disabilities, and/or trans, nonbinary, or gay/queer women, or speaking we need to hear them whether it’s complaining or not. Especially since given our marginalized status, particularly in the workplace self advocacy is often our only means of getting our needs met in our voices heard. We have a negative connotation with complaining. This is a relic of toxic positivity, which is at best dated and at worst highly problematic. And is actually more harmful than complaining. Reducing complaining to being labeled as “shitty behavior,” is simplistic. It’s like saying all conflict is bad, or all criticism as bad. When we know that conflict can bring resolution, and criticism can breed improvement. Instead of policing each other’s negative emotions about our individually lived experiences, we need to practice empathy and validate those experiences. Because acknowledging the negative is the only way we can move on from it.

The "Mentoid" ad was hysterical! Also, everything Katya said about not putting the toilet lid down is accurate. How do people not think about that? Particles on you, your towel, your toothbrush, etc.

Katya- hearing a repeated song or words in the middle of the night/sleep or when you wake up is a sign of OCD. I found that out when it was happening to me and so frustrating. It's not even a "song stuck in your head", it's an actual medical issue. might wanna get that checked out 🙂

@@kaz_it I think because she was dissing Shirley Temple (who is a gay icon) and so I think just because it was the one year anniversary of the Capitol Riots who was kind of a dark day in general for American democracy, don't make it darker by dissing Shirley Temple.
