My (crappy) description of the first hybrid: Name: Biskal [bi-skull] Species: Canine/Buffalo Food: Small animals like hares or coyotes Habitat: Dry plains •Travels in packs if about 15 •Half of the pack will ram attackers with their heads, and others protect the young. •Females have smaller chest manes and their horns are average size. They also sprint at incredible speeds. •Males have harder skulls and two sets of horns; one set is twice the size of the other, which is average sized. Males are also heavier and slower, with large, luscious manes. I dunno, I just felt like giving that hybrid a description. Hope you enjoyed lol.

Btw, my advice is trace. I know it sounds weird, but grab a drawing or print out of an animal and trace it. You’ll see how it’s supposed to be drawn and you’ll have a reference on your sketch book that you don’t have to hold up and have to angle. Then on the adjacent page, draw it again without the trace. Then try to draw it again on the next page where you can’t see the two and see if you can remember the anatomy. This is a good way to get familiar with a generic animal body.

Here's some ones which I got but didn't end up drawing: Steer (cattle) and a Barbary Goat. A rat and a dung beetle. A bull and a rooster. A gemsbok and a hedgehog. and finally, the most dramatic... A whale and a hare.

I love this challenge! I did it once and I got a bird and a ladybug. It turned out really strange. Also, I love seeing Lavender drawing animals! She is usually drawing people. She is way better at this than I am, but that is expected. Someday I will get there!

At first I was thinking that the hooves on the jackle buffalo combined with the eyes on the side of the head would make it an herbivore but then again deer eat meat at times so it could still be an omnivore.

We had to make up an animal for a project and I combined an octopus, bat, owl, and some weird bug. It ended up looking pretty cute though.

a little idea for the bison and jackal baby, it can have four eyes two on the front and two on the side. so it can look for both predator and prey. idk, just a little idea i thought was cool.
