Ah yes Avenged Sevenfold, that makes me into more metal. They have a big variety from really heavy metalcore to ballads and even country-rock song

Especially enjoyed the instrumentals as well! One of the moments in this song reminds me of the doom eternal theme by Mick Gordon

I'm surprised you didn't comment on the words around 5:45 -- those were extremely dark and almost sounded like a scene straight from hell. Constrict your hands around me, squeeze till I cannot breathe, air tastes dead inside, plague... restraints are useless here... sounds like a person very haunted. What do you all think, spiritual world a real thing, or are we in a only physical world without soul or spirit...?

I think he was speaking in a way that says hes trying to insulate/ protect himself from the painful situation at hand. Not sure if it was something he did but the other person was hurt and it was worse for him.

I may be wrong but I believe it’s the rev R.I.P. is the main singing voice on this song and the singer m.shadows is the melodic part.

M Shadows is doing all the vocals here, the harmony is his voice twice in the chorus even. The Rev is listed as doing some screaming on Eternal Rest on this album though.

I would love to see yall try and lyrically breakdown The Stage and Critical Acclaim, but this album Waking the Fallen is probably lyrically my fav of their stuff, The Rev was a brilliant lyricist RIP. Edit: im one of those people who is really into heavy which is probably why i love Waking the Fallen so if youre not really into all that i recommend the later albums City of Evil and the self titled white album are a must
