I MOVED TO A DIFFERENT COUNTRY! Together with my parents we drove to the UK to get me settled for my semester abroad. I am living in a dorm now, and I am sharing my kitchen with 6 others.. But this semester is going to be so much fun and interesting!

Hi! I just stumbled on your Chanel, it’s nice to meet you. I’m an international student that will be joining MMU later in September and I’ve been having a hard time settling on a decent (comfortable) housing. How was your experience living in your dorm? Can you provide any tips? Also, it’s nice that you’re a booktuber and you attended MMU for a few months😍🤗

Hii! It’s so lovely of you to reach out! I had an amazing time at MMU, and I lived on campus at the Birley Fields halls, which I really liked because it had an en suite bathroom. However I don’t know if they will have spaces for international students in the autumn term. I would suggest you email with the person who handles all the international student things at MMU for further advise! I really hope you will have a great time in Manchester just like I did!! 💕

Good luck with your studies! 💛 It’s so amazing that you have a chance to study abroad. After high school I moved half way across my country for university (it’s not that far really my country is not that big) and I cried for couple of days when I was left in the dorm 😹 I’m such a crybaby 🙈

Thank you! In the Netherlands I also lived quite far from home for my studies, but living in another country has been a really different experience. I have been so busy with meeting new people that I haven’t had time yet to feel alone :) so that’s good. But I’m dreading the day lonelyness kicks in 😅

Mine was Birley Fields Campus, which I really recommend if there’s any space!
