How's your September going so far?! I finally got my new computer :') so exciting! This is a continuation of my first week of school (from my last video!). I also explored the new building on campus today (which you'll see more of in my next vlog ;)). I hope you enjoy the video!

May I ask how you do the testing of a new laptop? I never thought of it and it's really smart actually

yeah! I check the keyboard and do a typing test, then i google search 'dead pixel check' to test the screen and then just test the speakers and usb ports(didnt show that in the vid). i recommend watching this video if you ever get a new laptop: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iciDasmBv6zZn58.html she did a more thorough test than me :))

hmmm i would just say to check the touchscreen frequently. i didnt use it for a while one summer and then the bottom third of the touchscreen stopped working 😕

as a student, how good and productive do you find surface go? also you might have used ipad air. which one is better for students?

I havent used an ipad air, but the surface go was okay. It was quite small though and over time I wanted to upgrade because the screen was small. I would suggest getting the regular surface if you want to use it long term. I have friends who use iPad, but they typicall only use it for writing notes.

Hey! I heard that you’re using your macbook pro for comp sci so I’m wondering if the m1 macbook air with 16GB RAM would be fine with it too? i’m interested in comp sci as well, but i can’t afford something that expensive so :/

Honestly I think the Air is fine! I run alot of other software (for 3D modelling and editing, etc.) and wanted to upgrade so I went for it but my friend who's an upper year in compsci is doing just fine with an Air :)

Today im getting a macbook pro and normaly in macbook pros there is the touch bar but your doesnt have the touch bar so im scared that when i get my macbook pro i wont get the touch bar either.
