I like how they went the proper route by not making it love at first sight between these two or a “hidden feelings kept from the other” sort of deal. I hope we get to see more flashbacks that shows us how this romance fully developed if it gets green-lit for Season 2.

So this is how Edred and Melinda first met but judging from these scene however they don't seem to like each other but how did they fall in love💖 in the first place?. And after a few episodes it looks like Edred is finally going to accept that the woman he love💖 in the past no longer exist.
