I feel like crying now.. Me and my best friend used to sing this song all day when we were younger, but then I had to move to another town, and when I finally came back she also had to move to another town, and it was so far away. But we always kept in touch with each other, but after some years, somehow we completely lost touch, and her grandma doesn't live here anymore so I don't know nothing about her, I can't find her on any social media, I can't call her number either. It's been almost 10 years... I miss her, she was my first best friend, she was the only friend that I really trusted. I wish I could find a way to talk to her again, but I'm hopeless now...

This is one of my fave in terms of Barbie's song. The message of the lyrics is cute for friendship. I remember how I used to sing this with my childhood bestfriend. It takes me back. Hmm.. I miss those days.

Barbie songs are timeless. You hear them as a kid and love the princess and magical aspect. You don't really get the meanings of the lyrics or think about them a lot but they sound really pretty and are sung by a mermaid! Things get harder as a teen and you're watching them to joke around with your friends cause you don't know what else to do. The meanings and the lyrics are starting to sink in more (but of course you're probably too proud to admit that. You become a young adult and things get even harder and so you look for the simple nostalgia of your childhood and realize these lyrics are exactly what you need to hear now. The songs never change, but what they mean to the listener as he or she grows and learns does.

This was me and my best friend years ago. She had an Alexa doll and I had Liana. We got them the same year for Christmas. This movie connected us even more. We always pretended we were Liana and Alexa. Even a bridge a part now, we are still best friends evermore

I'm going into my final year of junior high, and I'm looking back at my childhood. I remember my friends and I would watch Barbie all the time, and now we're into shows like anime, Riverdale, and shows from Nickelodeon like Sam and Cat. However, I know no matter how old we all get, Barbie will always remain in our hearts.
