You didn't show the Serial setup when you were in the menu for GPS Setup. It needs to be set on 4800. Did you assume everyone knows that?? You also did not point out that "GPS" displays at the bottom of the screen when the GPS is active.

I like the cup holder mount your are using. Have you tried any off market extended antennas?

Great video! I have the UNIDEN BCD436HP but the display is very dim can barely see it. I just picked up the base, SDS200 and it is great and is a game changer for sure, the SDS 100 is out of stock no one has it. Good luck and have fun.

I have used a window mount and it worked well also have used my dicone at the house but with the interoperability seems like range is typically not an issue

It does(obviously not encrypted) and you can pay for a DMR key. If you are in areas with trunked P25 it does amazing. Well worth the money.

When I’m Mobile and I’m in a different area it automatically shows me the county so what does this benefit the GPS also just punch in the zip code
