@@onthebench3606 I thought that when I purchased the 536, then shortly after getting it the control knob issue started. At this point if I so much as look at it, it goes crazy, so I’m Leary of buying uniden again.

Wish it wasn’t a $75 unlock. Paid enough for the scanner and then the $30 for the waterfall. Buy all the unlocks and add ons it’s pushing $1k.

@@danielhildebrand6892 it's too expensive!!
@danielhildebrand689225 күн бұрын
@@onthebench3606 agreed. When it was launched you were supposed to get all 3 unlocked at $33 USD a piece. Then it was $50 now $75 as the scanner is getting older and already has a successor in the works. It’s an amazing scanner none the less. I retired my BC780XLT that has been in service nearly 24/7 I bought the first week it launched. I ended up buying an Anytone 878D as I’m a licensed Ham and needed DMR Transmit for some local NETs. So it was easier to pay that over $75 to use the scanner to monitor. That and DMR is kinda fun to operate on lol!!

NHS Hospitals around here use DMRe, so no chance of monitoring them. Even if you have frequency, colour code, timeslot or tg id. Nice radio though.

Digital is great but disappointing on airband. The bleed-through I get on AM Airband is totally unacceptable for a £600 scanner. Just happens on AM.

@@onthebench3606no they aren't some sellers put a database in but this isn't everything or even accurate totally, as no such thing, you really need to use searches that you set up yoursef and save into systems that u make up yourself

Only a few sellers add dbase for a start it means that new radio u got is already second hand as they've opened it,secondly it's only sorted amateur information, some correct some not, it's great to start with but get to learn to add stuff yourself having all that ire loaded I personally would delete it serves no purpose after a few days to play around with
