great tutorial for those who want to get into the game (i'm on ps3, not steam lol). a side note about chain shifting, which may or may not have been mentioned in the comments, is that there are certain moves that CANNOT be chain shifted if the attack is blocked of whiffed, usually those with i-frames (B dps, gord's 214C, IW).

Man why does the coolest character have to be the hardest ;-;. I just recently got into fighting games mostly sfv and I wanted to get into an anime fighter and I chose this one cause apparently it's tutorial is out of this world, and as an fgc noob I figured I should take advantage of that

Yuzuriha is going to be my main if she gets into BBCTB. The far reaching slash move just made me shiver. I am studying up on these characters and this game because I never played it before but it looks really good.

Damn dude, this is such a well done video and with the amount of views compared to the miniscule subs you have, you REALLY deserve about 3,000 subs for this.

If you ever decide to make a new video on this game, you should do a smol guide again like this one but for basic bnb combos for each character and basic gameplan for them too.

I hope this game gets bigger and gets an anime because its cool af.i like how freely everything links togather.makes it really fun to play.pretty basic and straight forward.they didnt over complicate things.the simplicity is nice.i also like that some of these characters are in blazblue tag battle too.

I wanted to pick this game up when I first heard about it (mostly because I saw Byakuya and laughed because he looked like a creepy version of Yu Narukami). Then BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle inspired me even more. This video pretty much convinced me and thanks to watching it I'll have a better idea of what I'm doing going into the game.

Saki Tsuzura from Arcana Heart 3: Love Max [Six Stars] is also a charge character with the forward and up charge. Thankfully, she's also a lot easier and improved version of a charge character, albeit more rushdown oriented and a flash kick not guaranteed to anti-air due to the homing and arcana mechanics in the game. And her sonic boom is replaced with a lunging kick, which is still pretty good considering the arcana you can choose. And judging from you breakdown with Yuzuriha, wouldn't the southpaw samurai be good for the non-combo savvy playing this game? She does look technical, but with practice the mid-range keep-away/mind game style of gameplay doesn't look like it will be bad.

I think this is the only anime fighter that isn't so insanely flashy and colorful, and a lot less anime cliches than something like BlazBlue. I really love how UNIEL looks.

Is there a video showing the guide for combos? Like getting a wallbounce during combos im struggling to find ways to extend combos besides jumpin in the air like in dbfz

damn i literally picked up eltnum before i checked this video, i haven't tried the other character's combos yet, her combos seemed hard at first but very easy to drop. i can get them fine offline, but online they become impossible because i literally have around 20 to 30 frames of input delay. What are good characters you recommend for me that have easy to confirm combos (hard to drop if you will, considering the delay) with strong neutral game and decent mixups. or whats the most optimal character if i am gonna fight most people with literally half a second of input delay, eltnum turned out unplayable for me

Great video. And what if we'll put execution and spacing aside - who is more hard and complex gameplan wise: Vatista or Yuzuriha? Looks like Vatista has tons of tools for zoning and setups, but Yuzu also have a lot of versatile stuff to play with.

Merkava easy, huh? Iunno, the small amount of time i tried him, i just could not for the life of me understand how he's meant to be used. I could tell Yuzuriha must be really tough to actually get good with, outside of casual pick up and play, but dammit i like her too much. She's a freaking modern Minakata Moriya!

For the little of UNIEL I fooled with, I actually thought Vatista was easier than other charge characters due to their reversed polarity. It's a much more offensive style, IMO.

Nice man finally a full on guide about this, i wanted to do one myself but how can i when i don't understand jack about this game ? lol. A note for others some things on the characters seem a little biased (like saying chaos is worthless on his own when i used him the first time and almost completely with out "ozy?" because i didnt know how to keep him out and use him. and i still won against byakyuya. And gordeau is THE best? Eh... he's slower than ones like byakyua and carmine. I can't get him to do shit when trying to use combos. "easy" ok sure. He's worthless to use to me. Hilda was too. No fun. Hildas like the mage , you gotta keep your opponent away from you or you're more or less fucked. (unless you're great at blocking/recovering etc.) Hyde is insanely powerful i've noticed. He's the classic cliche` warrior type. Also can be kind of slow and annoying. REALLY ...all characters can be good bad strong weak it depends on the user and how they play like how some are better mages / dps or some are better tanks etc. You kind of can't really be a one man biased on things like this, sorry. But great guide!
