Incredible views as always you guys the rock and sedimentary formations are very interesting gosh I would love to see some of that stuff! The Portal hubs on the Mogs are a much debated topic in the states and there have been a few kits developed to increase the lubricant capacity to aid in cooling the hubs the only time its ever a potential issue is when highway driving is involved. When I got my 1300 I replaced the front portal bearings and it was pretty much a full day of work to get that completed but the piece of mind is worth all the labor and expense! Lifting the Mogs on a jack can get interesting because of the portal axles your lifting point is pretty darned high in the air on the axle housing, I have only done it in my shop on a concrete floor it could be a whole different matter on unstable ground, glad everything turned out fine for you and no injuries ! Merry Christmas to both of you and keep enjoying every opportunity that arises you are an inspiration to many of us! Happy New Year!
@UnimogAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Karl, we have not had any problems with the other portals in 60,000km, and we run at 100kph on the tarmac. The rocks were very interesting, they looked fragile as well, was not game to see how strong they were.

Hello wonderful Trips. I have driven this Unimog during my Army. And yes there are only two things that can stop it. Mud holes and overturning. Because of its smooth coil springs for the good twist. And the short wheelbase bad for mud holes. And I Like that you show Young women that attractivness do not need a weight just above bulimia. Thanks for that.

Lain what camera do you use? I just heard that the Canaon 90D has 30Mb sensor and can video in 4K. I dont take video myself, just pictures. Mine is a Canon 70D with 20Mb sensor. Do you recon a 10Mb difference will make that much difference. Maybe in post editing for cropping!? Your thoughts?
@UnimogAdventures2 жыл бұрын
I have the Sony A99ii - 42Mb sensor, and also does 4K video, I notice the extra resolution in the photos. The video is OK, but we just bought a Black Magic 6K video camera, and that is so much better, which means all of our new videos will be in 4K. It will make editing easier, as I can crop in and still keep the high resolution.

Great video and scenery shots. Do you have one of those woolly microphone covers? That's what a lot of KZfaqrs use in the wind and they seem to work quite well. I'm new to your channel, and believe it or not I was attracted by the title of the channel. Trish is very attractive for sure, but sorry love, you aren't as good looking as the Unimog. Yeah, I know they can be troublesome and costly, but boy they are a thing of beauty and so damn capable. I always wanted to own one. Too old and broken now, so I'll just watch your travels and those of others to satisfy my lost opportunities and dreams.
