Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented her fifth and the last full year Budget of the Modi 2.0 government on Wednesday.
Sitharaman termed the Union Budget 2023 as the first Budget of 'Amrit Kaal' and said that the Indian economy is is growing the fastest among major economies.
The Union Budget for the upcoming financial year 2023-24 aims to boost growth amid concerns about the impact of the global slowdown.
The finance minister in her speech noted that inspite of massive slowdown globally as a result of Covid-19 pandemic and Russia-Ukraine war, India's economy is on right track and moving towards a brighter future.
