Watch here as the Union Pacific Steam Crew takes the "Big Boy 2021" Tour Westward across the UP's Limon Subdivision. Hi Nick . Can't bellieve someone could give a thumbs down ! ......miserable S.O.B ! You must travel thousands of miles following "Big Boy" . So do you keep a day ahead so you can find the best locations ? You know exactly where to be ! Great stuff! Well . Thankyou for bringing us the amazing footage. l certainly will never get the opportunity to see this magnificent machine in person so l really appreciate the time and effort you take to entertain us . For all the fanfare about its impressive presence and scale, which is well deserved, I can't help but think 844 is in fact by far the more balanced, elegant and practical engine. Having said that, I think it's fantastic people get to enjoy both, lol.

I just can't imagine the 40s and 50s when these things were used daily. The upkeep and men required to keep them going. How I wish Saluda Grade was restored so big boy could attempt to climb it.
