i made a dinner ,made some rice pudding rice,raisins,ground nutmeg and cinamon,boiled in water when ready added carnation evaporated milk,just had some lemon cake and having a cup of fruit tea smiley and watching the great japan erxplorer .

The different types of chocolate for friends and loved ones is a great idea! I think I'll do that with my friends next year. They'll look funny, though, as it's not normal in Germany to give your friends something for Valentine's Day. In Germany, you only give flowers and chocolate to your loved one. Thank you for explaining the chocolate giving custom in Japan! I was never sure exactly how it works other than what I learned from watching anime! I’d love to receive chocolate from you, even the cheap stuff!☺️ For most people where I’m from, Valentine’s Day can be especially stressful because of the extra time, attention, and money involved in making it a special occasion for your girlfriend (typically, women don’t have to do anything except receive gifts and hopefully show a little appreciation😅). It’s also a very lonely time for many single people because we don’t really have “friendship” Valentine’s customs, except in elementary school when you usually have to give a piece of candy to everyone in your class. Since I can’t send you a card or small gift for Valentine’s Day, just know that you are loved by me and thousands around the world! In fact, you are the world’s sweetheart!❤ Happy Valentine’s Day!! And likewise, I love you “to the moon and back!”😉 Have a wonderful day, Miley! Much love always!💕

Well, I was actually awake still and watched the stream Miley! I'm amazed at the massive differences to Valentine's Day though! I think if I lived in Japan, but knew nothing about Valentine's Day and how it works there, where a girl comes up to me out of the blue and hands me chocolates, I'd be thinking, "You beauty! Chocolate......mmmmmmmm😋!" 😂😂 Then I'd be thinking, "Why's this girl just handing me chocolate for?" 😂😂 So yeah........quite different! Here in Australia though, it's the guy that has to try and attempt to impress the girl he likes! It could be with a bunch of roses, chocolates and a drink (champagne or something like that) or taking them out for dinner at some fancy restaurant. Yes, we literally have to go all out to impress the girl! It seems way easier in Japan! 😂😂

I was with a Chinese but didnt tell me about both days so i learned about it last year. I was surprised only in eastern asia they have two days & done differently. In hispanic countries its also called day of friends & lover. Miley's voice sounds like a teenager when she's excited 😊

i used to give pat a box of cholates and red roses for valentines day and some took a girl out for a meal.Valentine was also names a saint so he was saint valentine.

This is quite a complex chocolate distributing system on Valentines day in Japan,😲 but fortunately sensei Miley explained everything about this Tomo, Giri and Honmei Choco friendship. 👍 She said, she had no time to make her Honmei chocolate, (means this home made?) But was this true?🤔 She skipped over this chocolate chapter rather fast what is somehow suspect. We see Miley only with her beautiful female friends and the Japanese Tom Cruise, her Giri Choco friend, my greetings to him, 👋but is there a chosen one who will receive the pink strawberry honmei choco from her? She will never tell us.😉 In France it is much easier, couples, mostly, give each other present like flowers, chocolate, perfume, small jewelry, etc. 💞 Happy late Valentine's Day❣ I could not understand the master level joke of the whale restaurant owner.🤨

When i left school in 1960 aged 16 started rowntrees chocolate factory in york ,they made black magic dark chocolates ,dairy box milk chocolates ,they were boxes of chocolates .Then later came out a box of chocolates called today, later after eight mints,nux bars, coffee crisps,kit kat, polo mints,rowntrees pastilles,fruit gums,smarties cocoa,i think i remebered them all .

Sorry for the late comment but i was watching WIDM (The mole) and i'll promise you i will find out before the end of this season Fu.. isu e mol. In japanese this would translate to something like "Nezumi wa dare ?". But anyways. now we know how valentines day came to be and how an old fart can be real popular with the girls. and as usual you gave me kyun-kyun feelings like in the maid cafe.

So where I grew up in the us in middle school everyone got a little hershey chocolate bar so no one would feel left out then if you liked someone you would get them a box of chocolates then in highschool it changed not everyone got chocolate so some teens would be at there desk with chocolate and some would also cards to with confessions of love

In Norway the valentine is not very popular. The Japanese chocolate is quite cheap. I remember I got govida in Tokyo. That was even more expensive than Belgium, think it was 5 times more.

I never had a relationship only had two rejections and I think am giving up in finding the one. 1st crush 2015 - college she was from Kyoto 8 year gap 2nd crush 2024 - work Am only 28 but I think its best if I don't have feelings at all and no emotion like the gap from 1st to 2nd crush....but stretch that for a life time

Garrie in Scotland, we give cards more than gifts, to the ones we fancy, and if we get one back then we move on to the next stage, which is to tell the girl the card is from you and give her flowers and asking her for a date? all cards are given in secret unless she is your girlfriend or wife..........
