I can't find footage of the Japanese line in P3R but it seems like it's from what he says immediately after summoning Loki: "Justice? Righteous!? Keep that shit to yourselves!" (くだらねッ！　くだらねえなぁッ！　正義だの、仲間だの！) and probably "You're going down... I'll destroy you!" They omitted the line "You and your teammates piss me off" which makes sense but it's kind of funny to imagine Loki saying that to Makoto about S.E.E.S. once he finds out he's part of a team

I'm grateful for them being careful with spoilers for old games, though. P3R could very well be someone's first entry to the series, since the games aren't strictly connected.

All of the Personas share VAs with their respective characters, so Cassandra Lee Morris voicing a big macho gentlemen would be funny to see.

That's a bit of a fallacy considering that Kohryu, Yoshitsune and No Okami, were in the game as well.

It also kinda sucks that you can't combine these DLC Persona with their counterparts to get ones like Raoul, Herewood, William, Diego, etc

It’s not even a quote Adachi himself says, so it’s interesting to me that he seems to contradict a bit what we’re told. I don’t think he’s referring to the lights of Izanami, cause he’s not the one that went to retrieve her. Even if I’m wrong, cool persona line

@@eliasgalindo5578 no, iirc in the myth izanagi goes down to the underworld to save izanami but it's pure black, he finds her and she asks him to take her up to the surface but izanagi really wanted to look at her so he took out a comb and lit it on fire so he could see her then it's revealed that izanami is a rotting corpse

No that honestly makes a lot of sense. Especially from what we know from Akechi's social link (and I'd like to imagine there was some truth in the things that he said when he talked about his childhood). Plus the fact that he litteraly uses a lightsaber and ray gun as a weapon, it would make sense that it's what it would represent. Innocence is a good form of deception after all. Plus the persona is someone accepting their true selves, which means that even if you use it as a facade, it has to represent a part of you that exists, even for wildcards. At least that's how I see it.

I think that the Personas, despite not being awakened by their party members, still exist in the Sea of Souls, so they can still be summoned even though they have not forged a contract with the party member. For example, in Persona 3, Igor mentions that Orpheus heeded your call, implying that he was in the Sea of Souls beforehand and was not just created. Additionally, it seems Personas can take different forms depending on the summoner, so Personas like Loki, Seiten Taisei, Cerberus, Take-Mikazuchi, and Athena have appeared in Persona games before they were the Persona of a non-wild card party member. Considering that, I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to say that the P3 protagonist just plucked the P4 and P5 Personas from the Sea of Souls, and once his Personas returned to the Sea to be summoned by the P4 and P5 protagonists, they sort of just sat there until Persona 5, I guess.
