I use pine cones for shingles. Take apart each of the cones seeds and they are a perfect size, perfect look for a shingled look. One hint though, some pine cone seeds are pointy and will prick you if you are not careful. Your light is adorable and of course I will incorporate into my own fairy house creations. TFS P.S. I also use pieces of potpourri for accessorizing. It's amazing what can be created from this.
