Today I try out a tiny but luxurious space in the form of a pod room in Gatwick Airport. I buy their priciest "cabin" (hotel room) to see what you get for the money. As usual, everything is paid for by myself so I can share my honest thoughts as I go through the experience. Includes a full room tour and hotel walkthrough as well as the food and drink options available.
It was quite fun to sleep overnight in an Airport so sit back, relax and enjoy this latest wander.

Greetings Paul. Many, many thanks for this vlog. I'm a budget traveller and wouldn't lash out this price for a few hours sleep. Or maybe I'm just used to Nepalese and Indian hotel prices. But your room looked great and I could easily relax in such a place bewteen flights. I've only slept in an airport once in my life and that was in the free airconditioned room, with sleep seats, in Doha Airport where we had a 9 hour connection time. I did sleep but woke up a couple of hours later feeling like I was freezing to death. Thanks again, Paul. Best, from Anthony

Nice one, might have to book one of these would be better if you could book it for 4 hours or 8 or 12 etc

Any Hotel near an airport is always about 5 times more expensive because of it's location. Not a good idea.

I wish we had them in Baltimore. I would definitely try it out on the nights before early morning flights. Thank you for a great tour!

The storage area under the bed looked dirty. That room, to me was uninviting, cold, impersonal and too tiny. No thanks, I'll pay $250-$400 for a decent room with a table lamp so I can read before I sleep and a chair with a soft seat not hard plastic.
