Splitting the leaf into half vertically is unnecessary and greatly increases risk of infection

Please if you try this, make sure to let the propagation leaf rest for 3 days so the wound can callous over before putting it in spoil! Doing it immediately increases the risk of rotting

Yesterday by fluke i cut to halves of snake cuttings .. n put them in the water . They grow well in the water ... I put like that in my store .. they look beautiful .. but ofcourse replabted in the soul they grow taller upto to 3/5 feet

I pop off the babies and repot the rooted clippings 😂 only one new baby after 30 days of repot, but I thought it wouldn't work at all!

u may use succulent and cactus mix 65%, 35% perlite. Water after 2weeks or a month depending on where u got it from or the current condition when u repot. Then water monthly during summer and every other month is winter if indoors. Use only succulent/cactus slow release fertilizer every 6mons and seaweed liquid every 3mons, goodluck. Don't forget to place in bright medium light,

keep it in water. Those tiny roots will eventually grow longer.

@@LaPrincesaKarin anytime. Let the roots grow out between 1 inch closer to 2 inches. If the roots branch out into two, wait a bit longer, then plant it into well draining soil (succulent soil). Keep it moist for 2 to three weeks (because its water roots). Then after that water it when the soil is completely dry.

@alihussain4349 I just had to give you an update. It rained a week ago. I saved the rain in containers, then I switched the tap water of the snake plant with rain water. Wow, one week later, the roots grew almost an inch!! This was awesome 👌 😊
