A tall pacy modern right footed modern top notch CB to pair with Licha should have been the priority. Tosin on a free a bit underwhelming for that role and Branthwaite of course i'd sign but he isn't the most mobile and still a raw left-footed CB. For me Licha and JB does not seem the best CB partnership balance wise. Licha , Tosin and Branthwaite lets say are our primary CBs next term with potentially Maguire (if he bafflingly stays) doesn't fill me with major confidence and wouldn't say best balance of profiles and attributes that CB crop.

The problem is most of the players have been there a long time on long contracts and high wages that no other club will pay. The recruitment has been very bad in the last ten years buying over rated over priced players who have flopped in the Premier league, good luck in trying to shift them because it won't be easy. 😊
