United Polaris SYD to LAX Boeing 787 - 14hr Flight - Best US Business Class Offered??

I flew in Business Class From Sydney Los Angeles on United Polaris. This wasn't my first time flying in United Polaris, but it was my best experience with United. The food was much better flying out of Sydney. The entertainment system had a lot of options to watch on this super long-haul flight. This was the longest flight I've ever flew on, and United did a good job of keeping me comfortable for almost 14hr.

I just flew Polaris for the first time recently from Korea to San Francisco and I was very happy with the food and the seat. Glad it was better than expected for you!

Maybe the flights from the eastern part of the world have better dishes 😄. But this beat my expectations and was much better than my previous Polaris flight.

Polaris is a solid product. Nothing that will blow you away, but it is definitely worth choosing if the option is there.

You didn't get the mattress pad? I always ask for that and the PJs. My wife loves their thick slippers and usually grabs an extra pair. UA was 2-2-2 TPAC for so long, that 1-2-1 is way better but still not luxurious.

I'll ask for a mattress pad next time. Yeah, the 1-2-1 Polaris is a big improvement to the older product.
