The Battle Color Detachment, comprised of “The Commandant’s Own”, United States Marine Drum & Bugle Corps, the Silent Drill Platoon, and the United States Marine Corps Color Guard, is gearing up to go to Yuma, Arizona to train for the 2023 Battle Color Ceremony. After a month of rigorous training, the Battle Color Detachment will be touring the pacific northwest to demonstrate the Marine Corps’ longstanding tradition of ceremonial excellence, pride, and espirit de corps.
