She was injured in Olympic qualifying (Torn ACL and MCL). She rehabbed extensively back home in Germany in hopes of making to olympic roster but she wasnt ready in time. Currently, she is 95% healthy (her words) and is playing for her club FFC Frankfurt in germany where the season just started

I hope the Olympics encourage even more people to become fans of these amazing women.
