Anyone find their old iPod and now this came up and now they’re fixing it?

This still works in 2023..... I've been fighting with an iPod touch that's been stuck in restore mode for five months.... watched all kinds of videos on how to "repair" it.... none worked.... then I found your video.... works great now.... Thank you

THANK YOU! My iPod Touch 4G was in an endless recovery loop. iTunes kept restoring it, but every time the screen showed the "Connecting to iTunes" image. Following your instructions to use Limera1n worked! I spent HOURS researching this problem and wasted hours of time because one method called for installing iRecovery which killed all of the USB ports on my Win7 64 bit machine!!!! The only fix for that was to re-install Windows. GRRRRRRRRRRR. At least now I have a working PC and iPod Touch 4G!

i reset my ipod and now its stuck on the connect to itunes screen i connected it to my computer but its not even being detected now what should i do D:????

None of the other methods that i tried worked except for this one! i was starting to think i'd have to restore my friends iPod (which would have made him lose everything since his stuff isn't on any iTunes) then i tried this and boom, happy news Jeremy :)

before doing this i tried restoring about a million times. everytime itunes would restore it and then say it needed to be restored again. but after doing this i restored it and it works. thanks man!

If you have this problem you ONLY NEED TO HOLD THE POWER AND HOME BUTTON FOR TEN SECONDS AND THEN IT WILL TURN OFF. After that just press the power button and it turns on normal No need to do this process. TOO LONG

Had the same problem as you for days. My solution was another USB- Port. I used 3.0 since I got my Ipod, with USB 2.0 it worked fine.

worked for me.iphone 3gs new br/ fw 4.1 / bb 6.15. im stuck on slide to cancel/ connect to itunes coz i tried to downgrade from bb 6.15 to 5.14.02. After 4 times of installing fw 4.1 (coz bb remains at 6.15) it suddenly went to that state without the "insert sim to activate etc.." thanks alot man. got my phone working again.. :)

I had the same result so I eventually turned the iPod back on and it worked. You might have to disconnect it from the pc.

my ipod touch power button is on the top left of my ipod and i believe it is a 2nd or 3rd generation. do u have any tips?

the power button is the one on the top of the ipod and the home button is the circle button on the bottom middle of the ipold correct?

Just simply hold down the home and power button, wait for it to turn off, then release both buttons, and it should work, then you can connect it to your computer and charge if needed.

I fixed mine without lime or anything after doing all those videos! I simply was desparate, left it plugged into the computer, and installed the REAL itunes (I had two going by mistake, the second one intalled quickview) anyways it finished, and i looked at the i pod and saw the normal battery screen (everything is there)
