I remember struggling with the android resolver in the past, and just gave up and used the legacy resolver... This video showed me the error of my ways, and the blue bar filled to 100%... I just stared at it in awe for a good 5 minutes... Thanks a ton!!!!

Thanks so much for this. Unity's controversial new announcements have included mention of possible waivers for those using LevelPlay, but I didn't realize just how difficult it is to implement. Even now, things have changed a lot since the beginning of this year. IronSource's layout looks different, with test mode being trickier to find; as far as I can tell, Organization Core ID has been renamed to simply Organization ID (but I'd greatly appreciate anyone who can let me know if that's just the wrong number and it's somewhere else!), and the External Dependency Manager works differently-- I struggled just to get it for a long time since it refused to automatically install. Thank you so much for making my job easier Jack.

hi jack, thanks for making such a massively un user friendly process, easier to understand! I got it working mostly but having one issue. I'm only using rewarded ads and the first one works fine. but if I go back to my main menu and return to the game scene, then use the rewarded add system again, i see the ad, but the reward method isn't triggered. any theories on why this might happen?

for me, it only works if I have test mode enabled. Once I disable test mode, the ads don't show anymore

I assume that having the advertising and mediation packages both installed causes problems, would you say that having just the mediation installed is better than advertisement (unity's advertismsent sdk) or having mediation. as having both cause dependacy problems

Hey! Sorry for the late reply, yes having 2 packages installed will cause errors. Keep the package that your code is linked to and remove the other!

Any tips of resolving this that has come up since the Android Resolver was added?: Unable to find java in the system path. This tool is required to process Android libraries. Please configure your JDK location under the 'Unity Preferences > External Tools' menu. I've followed some supposed solutions online with no luck.

If you still have this error: Go to 'Unity Preferences > External Tools', copy the path of the jdk location, uncheck the "JDK installed with Unity (recommend)" and then browse for a path. Now you can insert the copied path and just hit enter (select this location). Now it should work. The error is that Unity makes the / the wrong way \. Then Unity can't find the location, ...

Hey, yes I do. To link it with unity levelplay, you do need to activate this to be able to link the project to the Iron Source dashboard!

Thanx!!! but after i install unity ads adapter and try to build, i've got gradle build failed. i've try any solution like download gradle change the directory to it, enable r8,android exporter to android manifest, but still gradle build failed. do you have any solution other than that? *nvm i found it

@@TwixtorAnimeFree yes this has always worked for me , but still i want to put ads, but nvm , i solved it yesterday , ysing 2022.3.0 unity , ironsource adsnse latest one , converted mono to il2cpp and armx64 turned ON on player settings and most importantly changed api level highest(level34) to api level 33, which also automatically installed it , buuild was successful with no errors , api level 33 is on android 13 latest android so no isues

I am trying to do Facebook and unity mediation but it's not working. when I resolved the dependency in the end it got an error resolution fail and in detail, it says that unable fetch Facebook meta and unity adapter. I followed exactly what you did, twice. I get absolutely no banner, interdtitial or rewarded. Is there another entry that must be made somewhere that you may not have shown us? - The Demo initialization process is not successful; Thanks for guiding us to the correct path to this ever changing Unity procedures :) I am using Unity 2022.2.2f1

Hey Ballone! If the ads are not showing in the Demo model. There may have been an issues with the resolver that doesn't become apparent. When you go to Assets->Mobile Dependancy Resolver -> Andoird -> Resolve. Once completed. Did you get a box come up saying resolution completed? If you didn't, there may have been an error that didn't display in the console or in the build. Do you have any logs? My guess is you will have an AndroidJavaException and a bunch of UnityListener errors! If so, Let me know and I will create a video on how to resolve that! Thanks, Jack

@@jackharris5098 I was actually doing everything right and I was getting the popup. However, it would not allow me to create an apk, not sure why. I decided to gp through the procedure from scratch in a new project. This time I got the apk built and I could test. The only thing is that when I click on showing the interstitial ad after loading it, it only loads half way and then restarts the app right away. Could be my phone (API level 23) . We'll check on that. In any case, you saved me a lot of time. Thanks!

Hey, are you still getting this error? Most issues are relating to the dependency resolver. When you try to resolve, what error do you get? If you don't get an error, do you get the box saying resolution sucessful?

@@jackharris5098 actually I solve the error. There is some file conflicting with other files so I just merge some of them and remove some unnecessary file. And solve the issue

Conclusion, what made all the errors dissapearing for me ... update to latest sdk available, api level 24 :/ But the build seems like needing a 64 bit phone, not 32 ...
