1) This looks better than new Sonic game, nice work 2) I hope this won't be your last game 3) It would be nice if by the end of development we'd get a blog about what problems have you encountered during development and how they will influence the engine itself Let's not forget that most of the critique people usually have about your demos is that they are made using some in-house tricks not available to regular developers P.S. This did not age well

Had started using Unity, when Unity 5 launched. My first expression was "Woooo... their is so much things on the screen... different panels... different scripting languages.... why an orange box is connected with a grey box.... what all of these parameters for.... where I will put the main function of my code". Days passed away and all of those things are making sense one by one. Thanks to our great Unity Community (Specially KZfaq Content Creators). Standing on today's time, and seeing Unity is just amazing, it has gone through lot of changes and evolved rapidly. Just awesome.... ❤️❤️❤️ All of the projects including Gigaya looks fantastic.

So happy to see Unity putting resources into this very important project and experience! Will Unity publish any articles/content on the difficulties encountered during the development? It would be helpful to see what types of roadblocks came up, and how they were handled. I'm also very happy to see the other comment about how there are no source-hacks. I think that is vital in selling the idea that Unity is a viable tool as is (which I already believe it is viable as is, of course, but it would be reassuring I guess to know such a thing). Great work to the team, you all are awesome!!!!!!! :)

RIP Gigaya. This should have been a slam dunk, finally Unity would be using their own tools and systems for URP, probably finding the limits and then improving them..... The Third Pillar: Successful Release and having the game cancelled is intense. Unity either doesn't know how to make a game with their own tools or it doesn't care about the community who uses its product, both are very bad outcomes.

@@recon5107 I don't talk about tools.. i talk about the engine itself. The Unreal everyone uses for free isn't used in certain companies. Most use the GIT version to be able to customize it to no limits thanks for the available source code. Removing unnecessary stuff or adding new features. That's the reason why bigger businesses use Unreal over Unity or just directly build their own engine. Unity imo is comparable to unreal, but lacks the access to the source code, which makes it difficult for some tools to implement stuff. Unreal also might has tools, but often they are still not as good as already established tools, hence companies still use third party physics engines, terrain and vegetation generator. Unreal 5 Trailer terrain was also not made by tools from unreal but use third party applications

@@INeatFreak Oh anyone who used Unity for years did, we tell them all the time to make games, they never will... This was a way to get users back to the engine NOTHING more.... They failed .

Well played Unity. This project could have exposed indie developers to new concepts and brought new people to the engine. Instead in the end this all leaves a poor taste.

So sad that Unity cancelled this. What a short-sighted decision.

They abandon everything, that my look, like it could benefit users and the engine... pretty typical.
