Hi YT fam! In today’s video we are discussing everyday home decor items that can be used for your fall decor! I think we are shifting away from the cliche "Happy Fall Y'all" signs and decorating in a less themed manner. I like the earthy, neutral colors. I look around my house and think, it looks like I'm ready for fall all year long - and I'm perfectly okay with that! 😅

LOL !!!! I love that!!!!! you could always pop in another color.. mustard, burnt orange, mauve if you want it to feel a little different. But the earthy tones are here to stay! Love it!

I do my “pre-fall” decorating starting August 1st, which looks a lot like what you shared here. Then September 1st I add in fall elements like pumpkins. I don’t care if that’s too early for others, the fall season is too short.

Coffee table looks really nice with the items you chose. Would you consider doing an episode sometime on coffee table styles and sizes and what to look for, especially for families with kids where the table may get more abuse than most furniture. I love your table but I need something smaller but I like the idea of stone or faux stone tops.

Hi Hannah.. I was thinking of one more item.. how about your aged vases .. you can use them all year long .. just pop out the summer florals /stems for autumn/fall stems..i mention your vase because I saw your vase in the background and was waiting for you to mention them .. lol I enjoyed the tip in the removing of the book sleeves .. I’ll have to check mine. I enjoyed this video very much! I am wondering if you could show different styles of doing an entry way table for fall.. not at the moment but as it gets closer. I started transitioning to this kind of decor last year for fall,( you were my inspiration) I already have many of the items you talked about, I actually have those same candlesticks, ( they are my fav.) The dough bowl. You have great tips and ideas for me to think about it. Your decor is gorgeous, classic and original. Again , you inspired me to change how I'm using my decor, and staying away from all the trendy overload of decor.

*Seasonal Decor Re-fresh, Classy vs. Kitsch* . I'm not the "Kitsch" decor gal, I'd much rather have an earthy, organic, warm array of items to re-style with. Textiles are my go-to, as well as faux florals and art. It took me years to nail down a "formula", but I have one now. Nothing gets dramatically changed by season other than the color palette and some accessories. I live in Upstate NY and didn't use a a single pumpkin for Fall styling in 2022. Love this. I can relate 100% to everything you are saying. I think we don't "need" to decorate with specific items in order for our homes to feel a certain way (especially in the seasons/holidays). It's all in how it's perceived. You can make your home feel like the fall time without a single pumpkin present. Does it make it feel more like the season.... yes, but not needed. I am really struggling with my pillow covers I have ordered countless of times on Amazon and had to send them back each time. Nothing just seems to be working or making it look good foe my living room area that I am trying to rearrange and decorate. 😩
