Compax, Bi-Compax, Tri-Compax? But what do this terms really stand for? Contrary to what most people think It had nothing to do with the number of the subdials. I’m Felix and in todays video we will take a closer look into the differences between these models, which functions they have AND share our feelings about the Design of a beautiful Tri Compax from 1947.

I just saw one in a shop in Hong Kong today. I will have to buy it soon or later. It is a masterpiece in my opinion.

That is a beautiful watch. Beautiful to look at. Many years ago I had a chance to buy one but unfortunately I decided against it. Instead I bought an omega from the 70’s.

It’s definitely a beaut. One of our favorite chronographs next to the Carrera. However, a 70s omega is never a bad decision !

Do you know any good source for model reference ? I have cal. 285 tri-compax produced, but can not find model variation. From serial number, mine was produced in 1946. I'm bit suspicious with authenticity of my watch and need info.

Hi Felix wonderful video as usual, what do you think about the late 80's to early 2000 UG, Quartz or 7750's sold as "compax", I already have one 7750 and in the process of buying another full set 1993 new old stock unworn, they are pretty cheap but I'm doubtful they will become collectible... Bust or keepers?

Hi!! In my opinion, any vintage model from Universal Geneve is collectible. Whether quartz or not. The decisive factor for me is always whether I like the design and of course the condition.
