Universal is 110 years old next year.. man it makes me cry when I hear the 1989 fanfare

Wohooooo for future 100th anniversary in 2015 but still love that old theme from 75th

Everywhere I've read, Universal is celebrating their 100th Anniversary this year, 2012. It's impossible for this compilation of Universal logos to have been revealed for their 95th Anniversary in 2011 because I've seen that compilation years before on other Universal releases.

At the end they should have ET and Elliott's fingers touching and blinding light then fade to black,then the movie starts

@ketchupmanor For some strange reason Universal times its anniversaries from the opening of Universal City in 1915, rather than the start of Universal Pictures. Universal and Paramount battle it out over which is the older company.

Except MCA would no longer be associated with this studio anymore at this point. *lol* I take it that the new logo (if there is to be one) would still have the NBC Universal byline under the globe, albeit a new globe.

@BuzzLightyear468 That was false because the intro started in late 1914 privately and orginally in 1915. So, the true part is 2015 is a incoming year of it
